Go to shopA private residence with contemporary lines located in France. Sculptural profiles, materials that interact with one another, shapes that flow in linear spaces and follow one another in a seamless sequence from the inside out.
Integrated within its environment, the house expresses a contemporary architectural language dominated by concrete and glass. The sober design is guided by the direction of the sun: the shape of the building is defined by the sun’s trajectory over the course of the day and its uses within the home.
The predominance of glass creates a strong continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. Through the use of large windows, the kitchen, living room and dining room look out onto the garden and benefit from natural light. The large outdoor space favours the integration of the house with the landscape.
The slender building is marked by a perpendicular volume which houses the dining room and kitchen. The living room, placed at the centre of the house, is the space joining the different parts of the building. The staircase in the living room leads to the sleeping area. The indoor swimming pool, located south of the building, also overlooks the west side of the garden through large windows.
Mohd’s Interior Design Service Team handled every step of the project: from the choice of materials and surfaces, to the kitchen, bathrooms, interior doors, to the selection of furniture and lighting both indoors and outdoors.
