A contemporary villa in Lazise, immersed in the scenic setting of Lake Garda
Designed by Milanese architecture studio Pier Solieri, the splendid villa is able to fit discreetly into nature, allowing itself to be enveloped by greenery and opening itself up to the lake’s panorama. Surrounded by flourishing vegetation, the property is located in Lazise, and its concept is characterised by the simplicity of two superimposed volumes. The concrete structure of the villa allows a perfect mimesis with the territory. The colour of the access staircase leading to the house, obtained by mixing the concrete with red pigments, recalls the shades of the brick walls of the city’s Scaliger castle.
Developed over two floors, the house is characterised by large windows that frame the breathtaking view. The spaces are almost entirely glazed, to emphasize the feeling of continuity between inside and outside, and the patio becomes the outdoor continuation of the living area.
The material choices in the interiors are interesting, such as the cocciopesto flooring and the green marble wall of the internal staircase. An aesthetic marked by discreet elegance, modulated in neutral shades, in harmony with the colours of the surrounding nature. The furnishings have been selected by Mohd from the best Italian brands.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the first floor. On the most private level, the master bedroom is in suite with the bathroom with the sculptural bathtub actually located in the room in a corner position between two windows. The Agape Neb freestanding bathtub allows one to take a relaxing bath while observing the view.
