Go to shopThe Eutropia studio, in collaboration with the talented designer Fedhah Khalid and Mohd, has crafted the interior design of a prestigious penthouse. This project brings to life environments rich in cultural influences, reflecting the residents’ souls while enhancing the apartment’s historical beauty through a blend of tradition and modernity.
In the heart of Porta Venezia, Milan, stands a residential project that perfectly embodies the sublime fusion of two distinct yet complementary cultures.
_ The penthouse, named “Dar Milano,” showcases a perfect synergy between high-quality Italian design, renowned for its craftsmanship, and intricate Arab details, paying homage to the owners’ heritage.
The primary goal was to create a space that offers physical and aesthetic tranquility through the use of high-quality furnishings, fine materials, and local Kuwaiti art.
The layout of spaces, color schemes, and design elements were meticulously curated to achieve a perfect balance between form and function, creating a harmonious dialogue that transcends time and space.
The large living room serves as a sanctuary of luxury and comfort, featuring two distinct living areas that ensure a fluid and dynamic living experience.
Large windows flood the space with natural light, highlighting the antique fireplace, which remains the true focal point. The pre-existing chandeliers have been preserved, maintaining a connection to the past.
The first living area features an elegant mix of classic and contemporary elements.
At its center, the Selce side tables by Gallotti&Radice, with their sculptural shapes and natural materials, add a distinctive touch, creating a visual balance that enhances the beauty of the upholstered furniture.
Paolo Castelli’s Icone Luminose floor lamp, with its totemic aesthetic and overlapping geometric shapes, illuminates the space with unexpected chromatic energy.
In the second living area, the space is dominated by the Julep sofa, with its soft, curvy lines creating a refined and welcoming atmosphere.
Vitra’s wooden coffee tables add warmth and a natural touch, harmonizing beautifully with the room’s contemporary design.
Central to this composition are the Soda side tables by Miniforms, made of amber-colored blown glass.
These tables introduce a unique element, functioning as both practical surfaces and captivating sculptures that reflect light in striking ways. The Atollo lamp, positioned on the console table, completes the ensemble, providing a soft light that blends seamlessly with the other furnishings.
The walls evoke the green of the 18th-century doors leading to the dining area, where the majestic Lagos table in Patagonia marble by Baxter takes center stage.
The soft, inviting colors reflect the owners’ warm hospitality.
Upstairs, the sleeping area materializes into a cozy alcove, with furniture featuring defined lines that invite rest. The daughters’ room is furnished in a simple and essential way, encouraging creativity.
“Dar Milano” is a place that celebrates culture, hospitality, and elegance, demonstrating how design can unite different traditions to create spaces that tell stories and offer unforgettable experiences.
