Go to shopThe ancient seaside village of Aci Castello, near Catania, is the cradle of an exclusive project by Luigi Pardo Architetti in partnership with Mohd’s Interior Design Service. Casa Mare is the perfect combination between the genuine charm of a natural landscape and a linear, luminous design.
The longitudinal axis of the bright apartment naturally leads the observer’s eyes towards a breathtaking view: the wonderful Sicilian sea, genuine visual continuum of the structure.
The light deeply permeates the living lounge through some wide windows, enhancing the connection between indoor ambiances and outdoor panorama.
“The observer’s eye is attracted and guided outdoors without interruption. Through an accurate research of innovative solutions, the furnishings selected by Mohd elegantly suggest a direct connection between the indoor ambiences and the breathtaking landscape.”
Dynamic, broad ambiences are designed to preserve a comfortable, private atmosphere. Every space allows an autonomous experience despite the complete absence of physical delimitations.
A variation in materials and flooring, and the presence of a virtual optical cone on the ground, allow the observation of a natural light change on the deck of the boat. The neat lines of the furnishings by Vitra harbor the living area, updating the idea of simplicity with elegant contrasts and formal beauty.
Shades of the sea overflow the environment with brightness, and the presence of white lets the light expand horizontally through the whole perimeter, softly caressing every wall.
The pastel blue sea landscape breaks into the apartment from the large windows, stealing the spotlight in a tangling of sensuous chromatics and variety of finishes.
