Oliva private residence is located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level in Mount Lebanon,surrounded by artistic and natural delights and overlooking Beirut and the Mediterranean Sea.
The villa was symbolically named “Oliva” to honor the family's ancestral olive groves across the Levant, and to evoke the olive tree’s historical significance throughout the Mediterranean basin
Absorbed in the typical Lebanese aesthetics and in the magnificent sights offered by the surrounding landscape, Oliva private residence stands out for its highly creative and contemporary concept that differentiates the structure in terms of architecture and design. Taking the best out of the breathtaking panoramas offered by the site’s surroundings, the large windows and doors of the living area allow light to permeate the interior spaces. The private areas are tucked behind flush doors and wall features so as not to distract from the magnificent views. On the outside, a vanishing edge pool overlooks a delightful natural context.
KAR Architects and their senior design consultant collaborated with Mohd’s interior design Italian team to define the lighting and the interior design plan. Working closely with the architects, Mohd has carefully selected the furniture and lighting fixtures from leading designers and renowned manufacturing companies, creating a unique bespoke project to ensure a truly contemporary design experience surrounded by the nicest Cedars Biosphere Reserves of Lebanon.
