Peach Inspiration: the color trend of 2024 is soft and gentle

Buddy Family Pedrali

It is a sophisticated variation of peach, with warm and bright notes

A peach sorbet with a light pink note: this is Peach Fuzz 13 2003, the color identified by Pantone as “color of the year” for 2024. It is a light and luminous shade that is very close to the peach color and for this reason it conveys a sense of tranquility and delicacy. It is a warm but soft color and, in some tones, it turns towards sand, becoming a precious neutral shade that is easy to introduce into a pre-existing furnishing context. In terms of combinations, it goes well with both earthy colors and materials and bolder, more lively elements, in both cases creating interesting and unexpected solutions. It is fresh and gentle but also contemporary and recalls the aesthetics of the metaverse in which pastel shades dominate. Here are some examples of how to translate it into design language.

Tacchini Tacchini Five to Nine Daybed 200 cm with Headrest – Anilina 02 / T134

Five to Nine by Studiopepe and Altar by Ewe Studio for Tacchini

The peach color is ideal, for example, to give a sense of fresh elegance to the Nine to Five daybed designed by Studiopepe and produced by Tacchini. It is a daybed, intended for convivial moments and solitary relaxation, composed of a succession of bolster cushions that rest on an essential wooden structure. For the same company, Ewe Studio has designed Altar, a coffee table or stool like a sculpture: the inspiration is the pre-Hispanic altars, to whose culture the designers feel linked by origin, since their home is Mexico and valorization of local craftsmanship is one of their cornerstones.

Tidea Peach Fuzz Special Edition
Horm Tide Sideboard

Tide Peach Fuzz Special Edition by Karim Rashid for Horm

Karim Rashid’s dynamic style finds the expression of its most lively and sunny side in this color. And here the Tide sideboard is proposed in a special edition: the main feature is the front surface, with the typical grooves and wavy lines which take on an additional softness thanks to this new shade. What remains is the perfect proportion of the elements and the capacity that makes Tide a decorative and functional element at the same time.

Buddy and Buddyhub by Busetti Garuti Radaelli for Pedrali

The Buddy collection by Pedrali is a succession of soft lines and generous curves that blend perfectly with the delicacy of the peach color. The seating line is developed in a rich series of different modules, with and without backrest, characterized by abundant and enveloping cushions, to be combined to create tailor-made configurations. The office workstations are like refuges in which to work in peace and silence, thanks to the protective panel that surrounds the desk, suitable for both the home and a professional space.

Artifort Artifort Orange Slice® Armchair

Orange Slice® by Pierre Paulin for Artifort

The Orange Slice® is an iconic seat designed by Pierre Paulin in 1960: this armchair has the extraordinary ability to evoke the aesthetics of the years in which it was born but at the same time appear completely current. Thanks also to the many colors offered for the upholstery, which enhance its “segmented” profile resting on the four metal legs.

Sancal La Isla Sofa

La Isla by Note Studio for Sancal

The La Isla sofa collection was designed to make passage spaces, that the anthropologist Marc Augé defined as “non-places”, comfortable and welcoming. The result is a central seat, also perfect for domestic environments with a strong personality, which in the peach-colored version takes on an even softer appearance not only to the touch but also to the eye.

Antoniolupi Antoniolupi Breeze Freestanding Whashbasin

Apollo 1 and Breeze by Antoniolupi

Antoniolupi furnishes the bathroom with the same care and refinement that he reserves for the living area. And here too the Peach Fuzz color trend brings a touch of style and an edge. Apollo is a shower head that also integrates a light: it is a simple yet effective and functional element in design that takes on an extremely interesting character in this colour. Breeze is a sculptural and one-of-a-kind freestanding sink: its transparency assimilates it to water and brings a furnishing element that stands out to the bathroom.
