Outdoor space 2025 trends

The new outdoor furniture collections are sophisticated, prestigious and full of character.

Large volumes, rounded shapes, structural colors: the new outdoor furniture collections reveal a further step forward in the direction of sophisticated outdoor spaces rich in details.

Gardens, courtyards and terraces are like rooms in which it is not the walls that define the limits of the space but the furniture itself that does so with colors, shapes and layouts. With this in mind, companies offer total looks designed for sophisticated and welcoming outdoor living, with a strong identity that can define a space even in the absence of walls.

Periscopio by Studiopepe for Exteta

Five padded tubes placed next to each other are the basic module of the Periscopio collection of sofas, chaise longues and armchairs, designed by Studiopepe for Exteta. The formal inspiration is the 70s sofa: large, generously padded and with organic shapes.

And if at the time a sofa of this type was unthinkable for an outdoor space, today it is possible thanks to materials resistant to atmospheric agents, such as those used in this project. A fun and comfortable sofa, to be combined with the coffee table from the same collection, designed to act as a collector element between multiple modules to be configured according to space and needs.

Moorea by Giorgetti

Designed by Carlo Colombo, Moorea is a complete furnishing system intended for the outdoor environment and composed of a modular sofa, seat, sunbed and table. The sofa, in particular, is modular and therefore designed to create unique configurations of side terminals, central elements, chaise lounge and pouf. The formal elegance is accompanied by interesting technical details such as the draining rubber padding that does not retain humidity and the upholstery in Giorgetti outdoor fabrics or in leather treated to resist atmospheric agents.

Philia by Roda

Philia is a Greek term that indicates friendship and it is really easy to imagine a rendezvous between friends in a Philia living room by Rodolfo Dordoni for Roda. The heart of the project is a teak platform on which the sofa structure is inserted, made of large and soft cushions in wonderful colors. The platform serves as a support for various accessories and the backrests can be adjusted.

Salina by Gloster

The collection of outdoor sofas by Gloster is inspired by the island of Salina, in which classic colors and materials are declined in a contemporary and minimal design. The structure is in teak and the sides are in woven wicker that offers a discreet and elegant decorative note. Ideal for an outdoor living room that fits discreetly and silently into the natural setting, without forgetting the essential but current style.

Atolo and Fllair by Dedon

For 2025 Dedon introduces a series of new products, all united by the visual texture characterized by the weave. This workmanship is an integral part of the structure and gives a classic decorative effect to contemporary shapes.

In particular, Atolo is the collection by Claudio Bellini composed of a two-seater sofa, pouf and armchair with rounded and abundant, relaxed shapes.

Together, the three elements form an archipelago, hence the name.

Samuel Wilkinson signs the Fllair collection for Dedon, inspired by Fiskardo, a small fishing village in Greece. Contemplating the coastline, with its soft but defined profile, the designer imagined the collection, of table and armchairs, for an outdoor dining area.

Boldini by Ethimo

The Boldini coffee table collection was born as an evolution of the Bold dining table and retains the material vocation of the original project. Like megaliths, the tables have organic shapes and new proportions that, accompanied by bright colors, not only furnish but contribute to defining the style and atmosphere of the outdoor living area. The structure is in enamelled ceramic and the top in different types of marble, all protected by a rainproof covering.
